Support Worker - Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)

We are seeking motivated and innovative individuals to provide quality support to people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in the community.

This role involves working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve community inclusion goals for individuals with ABI. You will be responsible for providing person-centered care and enabling individuals to live the life they choose, including pursuing activities of choice and re-developing independent life skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with ABI to pursue activities of choice and re-develop independent life skills
  • Provide person-centered care and enable individuals to live the life they choose
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve community inclusion goals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Essential Requirements:
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to consumer-driven services
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Driver's licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check (NDISWC)
  • Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle and willingness to drive a service vehicle
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate
  • Proof of Right to Work in Australia
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination and booster shot (if eligible) or medical contraindication certificate
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Vocational qualification in disability or community services or completion of New Worker - NDIS Induction Module

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends

Hours and Shifts: We require flexible individuals who can cover shifts from day through evening, overnight, and weekends.
