Suicidal Crisis Intervention Specialist

Our skilled and committed team of Mental Health professionals provide an innovative range of services for individuals suffering from, or at risk of, serious mental health problems requiring short and long-term treatment and support.
About the RoleThe Suicidal Crisis Intervention Program was established to provide support to individuals experiencing suicidal crisis in the setting of psychosocial stressors. The aim is to provide a person-centred approach to decrease suicidality and provide therapeutic support to the individual.
We are seeking an experienced mental health clinician to provide comprehensive support and treatment to individuals involved in the program. If you have always wanted to utilise your clinical skills to undertake therapeutic work and provide individual therapy to consumers then this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake therapeutic interventions with consumers of the program using evidence-based practices.
- Provide individualised therapy sessions to consumers.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team and with consumers/carers to enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.
The program operates during standard business hours but on occasion, some after-hours work may be required to meet consumer and carer needs.
