Job Summary

The Clinical Safety Specialist will work alongside the clinical safety team at InterSystems to manage the adoption of the Clinical Safety Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical safety assurance services across InterSystems' products.
  • Adapt and refine the Clinical Safety Management Framework and Plan for use.
  • Act as the escalation point for reported clinical safety issues.
  • Create Safety Reports as necessary from issues reported by customers, implementation, and support staff.
  • Perform clinical safety assessments to investigate and assess clinical risk.
  • Deliver clinical safety training to internal and external groups.
  • Participate in Clinical Safety Group activities.
  • Create and maintain region, project, and clinical safety documentation.
  • Provide clinical safety/risk assessment advice at customer sites.

Requirements:

  • Clinical qualifications (Doctor, Senior Nurse, Pharmacist, or Allied Health Professional).
  • Professional registrations.
  • 5-10 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience in a secondary care setting.
  • Strong grasp of clinical workflow in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Proven clinical stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Implementation of successful clinical risk management activities.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training materials and coaching.
