Job Description

The NSW Government is seeking a motivated and dedicated Multicultural Child Protection Caseworker to join our team in Liverpool or South Western Sydney. As a key member of our community support team, you will play a vital role in providing sensitive and respectful services to families from diverse backgrounds.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with parents, family members, children, and young people to develop safety plans and complete risk assessments. Your cross-cultural skills and expertise will be essential in assisting families from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

We offer a competitive salary package of $83,957 to $109,194 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading. You will also have access to 17 weeks of industry-leading training in the Caseworker Development Program, which will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to build positive working relationships. A valid driver's licence (P1 or above) and a paid working with children clearance number are also required.
