Radio Configuration Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Radio Configuration Specialist to provide technical and operational support for P25 subscriber radio configuration.

The ideal candidate will participate in customer meetings, derive operational requirements, perform verification testing, and update test plans as needed.

  • Developing and managing codeplugs is a key responsibility, including updating documentation and reviewing new software and firmware releases for customers.
  • Conducting regression testing for firmware updates, providing technical support to stakeholders, and engaging in stakeholder meetings are also essential tasks.
  • The specialist will manage a standardized process for codeplug development and testing, handle customer issues related to subscriber radio configuration, and maintain software tools and servers to support the latest versions.

A successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Electronics, Computer Systems Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. Experience with Land Mobile Radio systems, especially Motorola ASTRO P25, is highly desirable.

Key Skills

- Software/firmware testing

- Codeplug management

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

A strong understanding of Motorola radio systems and experience in operations environments is also an advantage.
