About the Role:
The system configuration specialist plays a crucial role in executing and maintaining business processes, managing operational health, and enabling automation across various modules.
This role sits at the heart of an organization's operating model,
- Tier 1 handles frontline support and basic configuration.
- Tier 2 delivers safe, business-led configuration of medium-complexity changes, leads testing, and partners with IT.
- Tier 3 manages complex integrations, custom development, platform architecture, and compliance.
As a Tier 2 operator, you'll configure and test safe changes within the system, triage and troubleshoot issues, and partner with other teams to keep the system stable and continuously improving.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining business processes, condition rules, security groups, time off rules, and org structure. You will also own user role assignments and audit access controls in partnership with IT.
You will plan, design, and execute end-to-end testing cycles for system changes, including unit testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). You will develop and maintain reusable test scripts and scenarios to ensure consistency across releases.
You will partner with other teams to coordinate integration testing, UAT, gather feedback, and resolve defects before deployment.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone with experience in enterprise software, comfortable navigating various system modules, and able to assess, redesign, and implement business processes that enhance system usability and operational efficiency.
You should have a problem-solving mindset, be confident with automation, and data fluent. You should also be a cross-functional communicator and AI curious.
