Job Title: Data Configuration Specialist

The Data Configuration Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data within the P&E system, aligning it with the relevant industrial instrument.

  • Responsible for managing and validating various data aspects throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal movements, promotions, contract modifications, and terminations.
  • Evaluate position creation compliance, guaranteeing correct legal entity, cost center, and cost group allocation.
  • Promote data quality by maintaining the confidentiality, accuracy, and consistency of employee records within the P&E system.
  • Ensure alignment of employee records with system updates and changes.
  • Conduct regular audits and data validation checks to proactively identify and rectify data discrepancies. Collaborate with IR Managers to interpret and configure data in accordance with new and renegotiated Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs).
  • Foster cooperation with relevant system stakeholders, including Payroll, P&E, JAMS, and Site Administrators, to ensure timely and accurate updates to employee data, such as wages and allowances.
  • Provide assistance with terminations, including date changes, to maintain data accuracy across systems and prevent overpayments.
  • Support training initiatives and offer feedback on data-related issues and errors, highlighting opportunities for process improvement.
  • Cultivate a culture emphasizing the importance of accurate and high-quality data within the organization.
  • Respond to employee master data inquiries, redirecting and resolving them efficiently.
