Job Overview:

A skilled and dedicated Radio Configuration Specialist is required to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical and operational support for P25 subscriber radio configuration and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Drive customer technical requirements with a national team of radio configuration specialists
  • Codeplug development and management including updating and maintaining associated documentation
  • Perform review and create a customer summary of new subscriber software and firmware releases
  • Perform new firmware version compatibility regression testing
  • Provide technical support for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute in meetings and interactions with stakeholders and customers
  • Manage a standardized process of codeplug development and regression testing
  • Primary contact point for subscriber radio configuration related customer issue management
  • Maintain applicable software tool/server versions
  • Follow standard Operational and Help Desk operating procedures
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Electronics/Computer Systems Engineering or similar
  • Interfacing with customers, staff, management, and vendors
  • Experience with Motorola ASTRO P25 voice radio systems or other digital Land Mobile Radio systems
  • Experience with public safety-grade radio systems configuration, implementation, and operation
  • Software/firmware regression testing experience and best practices
  • Codeplug development/management experience
