About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced GP to work as a VMO in our well-equipped medical centre. As a VMO, you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule and sessions, with the option to earn upwards of $300,000 per year. This role offers a unique blend of general practice and hospital work, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
The Scottsdale Hospital has 19 acute care beds, an Outpatient and Emergency Service, low-risk maternity, physiotherapy, radiology, and visiting services. You will be encouraged to take advantage of two income streams: general practice and VMO work at the hospital.
About the RoleAs a Rural General Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing medical services to patients in a general practice setting
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Participating in on-call rotations and after-hours cover
You will be required to have a ALS2 certificate and recent emergency experience (in the last 18 months) for VMO work.
