Seeking an experienced Rural General Practitioner to join our team as a GP VMO in Scottsdale, Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity to build a successful practice and enjoy a high quality of life.

Salary and BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary package, with earnings ranging from $300,000 to over $400,000 per annum, dependent on sessions and VMO participation. Additionally, you will receive a daily on-call rate of $1,200, regardless of the number of patients seen.
The position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- A 35% service fee with reduced service fee of 25% for after-hours, residential aged care, home and hospital visits
- A RA3 location, resulting in a 30% reduction in your moratorium period, from 10 years to 7 years, and a DPA location
- GRIP payments as MMM5 location, up to $23,000 in your 5th year
This role involves working as a GP VMO in Scottsdale Hospital, providing medical services to patients across ATS CAT 1-5. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule, choosing the days and sessions that suit you best.
As a GP VMO, you will be encouraged to take advantage of two income streams: general practice and VMO at the Scottsdale hospital. This provides a unique opportunity to earn a higher income than traditional general practice roles.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- General Registration or above with AHPRA
- An ALS2 certificate and recent emergency experience (in the last 18 months) for VMO work
