OSHC Service 2IC Job Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an OSHC Service 2IC at Tahmoor Public School in New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily quality activities for children that are engaging, fun, stimulating, and educational.
  • Supervise and support children during Before and After School Care hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options for the children, promoting a positive relationship with nutrition and healthy eating.
  • Establish a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages children to thrive and develop social skills.
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.

Requirements:

  • Engaging and warm personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting practices.
  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services (or studying towards) or equivalent qualification that can be recognized in the field of children's services.
  • Working with Children Check clearance (willing to obtain).
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training certification (willing to obtain).
