Water Account Specialist Role

Lismore City Council is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to its community. As a detail-oriented Water Account Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our Finance team.

You will be responsible for accurate and timely water account processing, coordinating meter reading cycles, and supporting debt recovery processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process and issue quarterly water accounts accurately and on time
  • Coordinate meter reading cycles and concealed leak applications effectively
  • SUPPORT debt recovery processes through collaboration with internal teams and customers

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in accounting, financial management, business or related discipline (or extensive relevant experience)
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
