About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our operations team as a Drainage and Water Operations Specialist.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Analyze technical specifications, plans, and diagrams to ensure accurate interpretation and construction.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety, identifying risks and implementing controls to prevent accidents.
  • Conduct thorough condition assessments of urban drains, water, and wastewater infrastructure, including pipes, manholes, and pumps.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks, aligning with team objectives and communicating progress to colleagues.
  • Collaborate as part of a cohesive team, providing support and expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Holding a current General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Proven experience in operating and maintaining urban drainage systems, water, and wastewater infrastructure
  • Able to work flexible hours, including an on-call roster outside regular working hours
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to safety, prioritizing personal and team well-being
