Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Front Office Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the front office operations, including managing complaints, problem-solving, team management, and training.

You will ensure that the front office provides an exceptional level of guest service, leading by example and setting high standards for customer satisfaction. You will also identify new sales leads, encourage the team to do the same, and contribute to the commercial success of the hotel.

In addition, you will manage emergency situations in a safe and professional manner, build strong relationships with your teammates and guests, and provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front office operations, including complaints, problem-solving, team management, and training
  • Ensure exceptional guest service, leading by example and setting high standards
  • Identify new sales leads, encourage team members to do the same, and contribute to commercial success
  • Manage emergency situations in a safe and professional manner
  • Build strong relationships with teammates and guests
  • Provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High standards of attention to detail and accuracy
  • FIRST AID CERTIFICATE (or be willing to obtain within the first month)
  • RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL CERTIFICATE (or be willing to obtain within the first month)
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including public holidays on rotation
