About the Role
As our Front Office Manager, you'll lead the Front Office and Reservations team to deliver seamless operations and unforgettable guest experiences. Working closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, mentor your team, and ensure the hotel runs smoothly in their absence.

Your Day-to-Day
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Front Office and Reservations team
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through a service-first culture
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and act as Manager on Duty when required
- Oversee rostering, staffing levels, and cost efficiencies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication
- Manage VIP and group bookings with precision and care
- Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and revenue
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints effectively
- Support marketing and product development initiatives to drive occupancy and rate growth
- Work a flexible rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional night audit coverage
About You
- Proven experience in hotel operations, ideally as a Duty Manager or above
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing teams
- Exceptional communication skills — both written and verbal
- High level of organisational and time-management skills
- Hands-on experience with property management systems; Opera Cloud knowledge highly regarded
- Confident multitasker who thrives in fast-paced environments
- Positive, outgoing personality with a proactive approach
