Psychologist - Child and Youth Mental Health Specialist (Tasmania)

We are seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our Child and Youth Mental Health team in Hobart, Tasmania.
This role will involve providing high-quality psychological services including evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions to CYMHS clients, and their families.
Key responsibilities include working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment undertaking various assessments across multiple CYMHS program areas, and developing and delivering appropriate treatment options for consumers and their communities.
- Two years post-registration supervised experience in a clinical area directly applicable to Child and Youth Mental Health Services.
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and skill in contemporary psychological practice with children and adolescents, including evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions.
- High-level interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, including effective liaison with other services and agencies.
Requirements include a tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia, Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, and Working with Children Registration.
The successful applicant will be required to meet the essential criteria and have access to salary packaging benefits.
Eligible candidates will also have access to travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
