Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in the field of Child and Youth Mental Health Assessment.

About the Role:

This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment undertaking evidence-based assessments across multiple program areas. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, including consumers and their care teams, to understand presenting issues and develop appropriate treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake evidence-based assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with significant mental health challenges
  • Develop and deliver treatment plans in collaboration with consumers and their care teams
  • Liaise effectively with other services and agencies to provide specialist psychological mental health assessment, advice and training
Requirements:
  • Two years post-registration supervised experience in a clinical area directly applicable to Child and Youth Mental Health Services
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience and skill in contemporary psychological practice with children and adolescents
  • High level interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
