About the Role

CHEP is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and we're seeking an experienced Internal Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Sales and Service team, you'll be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of CHEP Australia customers through telephone contact.

Your primary objective will be to build relationships, resolve queries, and identify opportunities to grow market share. You'll work closely with our Regional Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow market share through cross-selling and upselling CHEP's services
  • Provide timely and effective resolution of customer queries and issues
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM systems and SAP would be an advantage
