Job Description

This Community Support Specialist role involves providing culturally safe and person-centred support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members. Your duties may include assisting clients with shopping, social outings, and household chores, as well as facilitating group outings and activities that promote social connection and community engagement.

Requirements
  • A passion for supporting our mob and making a positive impact.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to support clients in various ways.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar support worker or care-giving role.
