Job Description

In this pivotal role, you'll deliver internal communications that inspire, inform, and connect employees across the business. You'll be responsible for executing communications strategies that support cultural initiatives and operational excellence, while also contributing to external-facing collateral when needed.

You'll lead the development of engaging content, support business-wide projects, manage digital tools (including the company intranet), and bring creativity and clarity to how the business communicates.

  • Plan and deliver internal communications programs, staff news, and information cascades
  • Partner with business units to support projects with tailored messaging and content
  • Own and evolve the company intranet, enhancing usability and engagement
  • Develop collateral including presentations, branded content, and digital resources
  • Support cultural initiatives and internal recognition programs
  • Manage media monitoring and reporting
  • Coordinate communications for events, campaigns, and key dates of significance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Communications Specialist should have:

  • Proven experience in internal or corporate communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for diverse audiences
  • Skilled in digital content creation: video editing, graphic design, intranet management
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages
  • Experience managing communication projects and multiple deadlines independently
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Comfortable supporting both internal culture initiatives and external-facing communications
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to perform well under pressure
