Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
About the Role:
This role will engage with the Merchandise & Product teams by providing financial insights and advice, driving profit initiatives. You will assist with special projects and support the Finance department with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
- Prepare financial evaluations and advice for business cases.
- Partner with Chief Merchandise Officer, Category Managers, Planning Managers, and Operations Managers in the area of responsibility.
- Develop timely and meaningful commercial analysis for the client group.
- Assist in providing financial control to key monthly merchandise processes.
- Prepare post-implementation reviews to evaluate success of implemented projects.
About You:
- CA/CPA qualified with active membership.
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within large, complex organizations.
- Experience and/or understanding of the retail industry, particularly with online businesses.
- Leverage intimate knowledge of reporting systems to extract and report data, identifying issues.
- Apply highly developed knowledge, understanding, and application of financial acumen to deliver individual, team, and organizational objectives.
- Specialist/authority-level knowledge, understanding, and application of financial acumen.
- Proven success applying specialist skills across projects, teams, departments, and organizational functions.
- Negotiate trading terms to deliver commercial targets.
