About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused Lifeguard to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe enjoyment of our pools by patrons.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe environment, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times, monitoring pool areas and responding promptly to incidents or hazards
  • Ensure that all pool operations are conducted in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment
Requirements
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) certification
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current National Police Check clearance
  • Currently Working with Children's Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
