About the Role:This role plays a vital part in delivering engaging and effective swim lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging swim lessons for participants of various ages and abilities, following established curriculum and safety guidelines.
- Provide individualized instruction, offering personalized feedback and guidance to help participants develop proper swimming techniques and build confidence in the water.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, adhering to recognized safety standards and protocols.
- Establish clear communication channels with participants and colleagues to provide updates on progress, schedules, and any relevant information.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments, and provide regular updates to supervisors.
- Hold a Swim Teacher qualification from a reputable organization such as Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA), Austswim Australia, or Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association.
- Hold a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.
- Have a Working with Children Check Clearance.
