The role of a Pool Lifeguard is a vital one, ensuring the safety of all pool users while maintaining a clean and well-maintained environment.
This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a team environment and are able to multitask with ease. As a Pool Lifeguard, you will be responsible for enforcing pool rules and regulations, responding to emergencies as needed, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons.
Responsibilities- Ensure the safety of all pool users and monitor pool surroundings.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the pool area.
- Conduct water quality tests and address any identified issues.
- Assist with customer service duties, including memberships and point of sale.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
- Knowledge of water rescue techniques and CPR
- Ability to enforce safety rules and handle emergency situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Able to lift 25kg or more
