As part of this reform, we are seeking a skilled Practitioner to join our Safer Family Services team.

About the Role

">

The Practitioner will work intensively with vulnerable children and their families to provide support and guidance. This may involve home visits, case management, and collaborative work with other services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Managing complex cases and delivering supportive diversionary responses to children and their families.">
  • Developing local, regional, and state-wide networks with government and non-government agencies to promote outcomes for vulnerable children and families.">
  • Engaging with supervisors and specialist practitioners through supervision and reflective practice sessions.">
  • Integrating contemporary information and research evidence with practice experience to support decision making and innovative thinking.">
  • Consulting with Cultural Elders and community members to enhance culturally appropriate services.">
