Role Overview

We seek experienced professionals to join our Guardianship Team as Case Managers or Social Workers.

  • Delivering effective case management services to support vulnerable children and their families in a timely manner.
  • Developing and implementing intervention strategies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
  • Preparing concise and informative reports based on evidence gathered, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Conducting child-centred investigations and assessments, prioritising the safety of the child and the support of the parent/family.
  • Providing regular support and guidance to parents, promoting appropriate parenting skills and relationships.

Key Requirements

Candidates will possess:

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of culturally sensitive practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other communities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
