Practice Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team in a full-time capacity.

This role offers the opportunity to travel throughout regional South Australia and engage with various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance, resources, mentoring, coaching and other support to enhance practice capability of office staff.
  • Maintaining practice quality within the office, identifying practice issues and implementing strategies for improvement.
  • Leading strategic projects to build practice capability within the office.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning within the office by developing and sourcing relevant training opportunities.
  • Recognising skill and knowledge gaps amongst office staff and facilitating relevant development activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering evidence-based social work practices that cater to the needs of children, young people, their families and carers.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting children and young people requiring care and protection, including their families and carers.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining a professional environment conducive to learning and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing reflective supervision in a child protection context.
