Job Title: Construction Project Assistant
About the PositionWe are seeking a diligent and resourceful intern to assist with construction project coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals studying or recently graduated in civil engineering to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake technical studies, including site investigations and feasibility assessments using computer software;
- Develop detailed designs and perform complex calculations;
- Liaise with clients and various professionals, including architects and subcontractors;
- Compile job specifications and supervise tendering procedures;
- Resolve design and development problems, manage budgets and resources, and schedule material deliveries;
- Relevant degree qualification or recent graduation in civil engineering;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken;
- Technical and soft skills necessary for the position;
- Commitment to a career in civil engineering;
- Availability to work at least 3 days per week;
- 12 weeks of guaranteed work experience;
- Structured training plan and performance appraisals;
- Options to balance internship with study or work commitments;
- Internship agreement with compliance guidelines;
- Work experience insurance cover;
The host company is located in Adelaide.
