As a key player in the Defence Industry, we play a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures effective and sustainable delivery.
Expanding scope of works has created an opportunity to join our team as Fuel Operators at the Edinburgh RAAF base, SA.
This is a unique and exciting chance to work within a team of defence personnel while enjoying benefits of working with a Tier 1 service provider.
We operate as one team and perform operations & maintenance of fuel to the RAAF and other Defence stakeholders on base.
The Role
Reporting to an Operations Supervisor, this role will be based at the Edinburgh RAAF base, supporting several fuel installation sites in the region.
Fuel Installations Operator
Working under the Operations Supervisor, you will undertake various operational and functional roles around the installation
Responsibility for safe and compliant operation and management of the aviation and/or ground fuel installations
Lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes
Ensure technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing
Experience in similar environments highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments
Required Skills & Qualifications
We require a strong team player, self-starter and dedicated employee along with relevant experience to the role above.
Defence specific training advantageous but will be provided where required
Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC highly regarded)
Safety paramount in everything you do
Must hold or able to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
Lives locally or willing to relocate to the Darwin region (close-proximity to Darwin)
