The Role
  • We are seeking Fuel Operators to join our team at the Edinburgh RAAF base, SA.
  • This position reports directly to the Operations Administrator and involves various operational and functional roles around the installation.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations.
  • A key aspect of this role is leading a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safe and compliant operation and management of fuel installations.
  • Lead a team of operators, ensuring quality, compliance and availability of fuel systems.
  • Manage quality control sampling and testing of fuel.
Requirements
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Defence specific training is advantageous, however, this training will be provided where necessary.
  • A valid Driver's Licence (HR or HC highly regarded).
  • Safety is paramount in this role.
  • Appropriate Defence Security Clearance is essential.
