A leading multidisciplinary team is seeking a passionate and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide person-centred support services.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent report writing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for assisting NDIS participants and their families or carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
- You will develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment.
- Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community.
- Ensure individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
- Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants—families, carers, friends, etc.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
