Are you a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner looking to make a difference in the lives of children and their families? Join AIM Therapy for Children, a dynamic and growing team of over 35 allied health professionals and admin staff who are committed to delivering fun, functional, and family-focused care.

Why Join AIM Therapy?

At AIM, you'll work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Psychologists in a multidisciplinary team environment. We offer both individual and group therapies from our purpose-built clinics across Perth, as well as in homes and schools—wherever children need us most.

We are expanding our services to include Positive Behaviour Support and are seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with current suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level to provide positive behaviour support services.

On a daily basis you will be:

  • Assisting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions and strengths
  • Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners

What You'll Love About This Role:

  • Work from our clinic spaces or in the community with autonomy
  • Option to work from home
  • Gradual caseload ramp-up to support your transition
  • Collaborate with a diverse team and experienced Clinical Leads
  • Therapy rooms with trampolines, swings, toys, and more
  • Access to a wide variety of assessment tools and resources
  • Admin support for bookings and invoicing

Perks & Benefits:

  • Salary + performance-based bonuses
  • Flexible working hours to suit school schedules, childcare, and life commitments
  • Laptop and smartphone provided
  • Paid travel reimbursement for client visits
  • Paid parental leave
  • Salary packaging and novated leasing options
  • Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Opportunities to progress into Senior or Leadership roles
  • Career plan with biannual goal setting and review

Professional Development:

  • $1000 annual external PD allowance + paid PD leave
  • Regular monthly discipline-specific PD sessions
  • Tailored supervision and mentoring
  • Internal learning & leadership development platform
  • Regular whole team PD meetings

About You:
