Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consulting Sales Lead to drive the growth and success of our consulting business in NSW and Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and driving sales of consulting engagements, including both short-term advisory projects and longer-term programmatic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development
    • Lead and manage the sales process within your assigned geography to achieve and exceed sales targets for both short advisory projects and longer programmatic initiatives.
    • Manage the contracting process, including the development and presentation of compelling proposals to prospective clients.
    • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and expand the client base.
    • Drive customer retention through follow-on sales and by ensuring ongoing client engagement and satisfaction.
    • Monitor sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Partnerships and Market Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to enhance service offerings and drive business growth.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and General Manager (GM) to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience selling consulting or professional services.
  • Proven success in account management, demand generation, business development or sales within the technology consulting sector.
  • Strong account planning and disciplined forecasting abilities.
  • C-level presence and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Deep and trusted connections in industry across Australia.
  • High-level commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Ability to travel to client locations within Australia when needed.
