About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mail Handling Specialist to join our team at a Mail & Parcel Processing Centre.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Posties who provide essential services to our local community every day.

You will work collaboratively with a friendly team of like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference. Our team relies on your contributions, and it's an opportunity like no other.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the processing of standard letters, large letters, small parcels, and Express Post articles.
  • Manually handle and sort mail articles where machine sorting isn't possible.
  • Loading and unloading mail from bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices).
  • Operate and use load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers while working alongside operations staff to get mail into the facility.
About You
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 12:45 AM - 5:45 AM.
  • Flexible with working additional hours if required.
  • Excellent memory, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly.
  • Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory.
