We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to seniors in a residential aged care setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
- Foster strong relationships with residents and their families, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the facility.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and physical needs, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents at all times.
- Engage residents in stimulating activities and social interactions, promoting mental and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop personalized care plans tailored to meet each resident's unique needs.
- Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)
- A compassionate nature and genuine passion for caring for seniors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and patience to provide individualized support with dignity and respect
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
