Job Title: Senior SQL Database Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior SQL Database Administrator to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.

  • Reporting to the IT Capability Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server instances and associated infrastructure.

  • You will manage large enterprise high-availability Microsoft SQL implementations, install, create, configure, upgrade, and monitor databases to ensure optimum performance, and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.

  • In addition, you will work with application teams to support database-related incidents and requests, and provide technical escalation support for complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly available Microsoft SQL Server solutions.

  • Develop and maintain complex database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance.

  • Implement and manage security measures to protect sensitive data.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to application teams on database-related matters.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of ITIL framework processes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Microsoft SQL Server solutions.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
