Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team on a significant commercial project in Canberra.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules
  • Provide assistance with progress claims and external variations
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts
  • Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims
  • Administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
  • Administer the project HSE system
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A senior-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
  • Aspiring contract administration level; demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
  • Industry-relevant degree qualification
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principles & construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
  • Appreciation for process and systems
