Book Cents Business Services is a Bookkeeping Practice in Melbourne's South East suburbs providing customised Bookkeeping, BAS, compliance services and administration support to SME's. We are a tight knit team who talk too much, have great attention to detail, drink too much coffee and sometimes have a potty mouth. We believe that working together, sharing our different skill sets and expertise helps to make us a team of awesome

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who takes pride in their work and aligns with our values of being honest, transparent, direct and doesn't take any BS

The position is initially approx 15-20 hrs per week (possibly leading to fulltime) with flexible working hours. Work is varied across several clients and industries, with the expectation that you can juggle and multi-task. If you can be a captain of the ship, a work wife (or husband) or a resident nag whilst rolling with the punches, we would like to hear from you

Skills and experience:

- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting
- Xero Accounting Software (essential)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of offering a Client first, 'do it all' end to end service approach
- Attention to detail
- Can-do and collaborative working attitude
- Great communication skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
- Xero: 2 years (required)
