Key Maintenance Tradesperson for BHP's Hay Point Terminal

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Tradesperson to join our team at BHP's Hay Point Terminal. Reporting to the Supervisor Port Maintenance Execution, you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities on various equipment, including dump stations, stacker reclaimers, shiploaders, and ancillary equipment.
As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist with planned maintenance, complete tasks in a timely manner, and provide trade skills to perform unplanned or breakdown maintenance across all areas of Hay Point operations.
Responsibilities- Comply with and consistently follow safety standards and procedures to ensure safe and effective work practices.
- Assist with planned maintenance and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Provide trade skills to perform unplanned or breakdown maintenance across all areas of Hay Point operations.
- Work collaboratively with your team to achieve high levels of accountability and build proactive relationships.
- Provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on job progress.
- You will have a relevant trade qualification - Mechanical Fitter.
- Proven maintenance experience in Fixed Plant maintenance.
- Your focus on safety, drive, and passion to improve will see you succeed in this role.
- Your people and communication skills are essential, as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating, and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience with 1SAP will be beneficial.
- The nature of the role requires you to be a forward thinker and focused on process discipline.
