About the Role

As a Terminal Maintenance Electrical Tradesperson at BMA Hay Point Terminal, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on fixed plant and port infrastructure. You will work closely with the Supervisor Port Maintenance Execution to ensure the safe delivery of department objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with safety procedures and standards to work safely and effectively
  • Complete allocated planned maintenance tasks and undertake unplanned or breakdown maintenance
  • Provide feedback to the maintenance supervisor on job progress and undertake assigned improvement projects
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high levels of accountability and build proactive relationships across site teams

About You

  • You will have a relevant trade qualification in Electrical and proven maintenance experience in fixed plant maintenance
  • Your focus on safety, drive, and passion to improve will be essential for success in this role
  • You will have strong people and communication skills, with the ability to liaise, negotiate, and influence internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Current QLD Electrical Workers license
  • Current Electrical Switchboard and Resuscitation certificate
  • Current Driver's license
  • Ability to fault-find and interpret Electrical schematic drawings
