We are seeking a specialist to join our Employment Tax team. The successful candidate will have experience in employment tax and be able to provide expert advice on FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG, and employee versus contractor matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert tax advice on FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG, and employee versus contractor matters.
- Provide international assignment consulting and compliance services to clients.
- Prepare FBT returns using specialist software.
- Review and develop FBT policies and procedures for employers.
- Prepare and review payroll tax returns, undertaking compliance reviews and 'health checks' for employers' employment tax obligations.
- Design and implement share plans for C-suite and all other levels.
- Work collaboratively with data and technology experts to help design automated tools.
- Experience in a similar or complimentary role is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work independently.
- Strong research and legal interpretation skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree qualification, majoring in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Law.
