Employment Tax Advisor Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Tax Advisor to join our team. As an expert in employment tax advice and compliance support, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Expert Employment Tax Advice: Conduct research and provide written guidance on FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, and Salary Packaging, while collaborating with other business units to offer specialist insights.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Review and prepare annual FBT returns, payroll tax filings, and superannuation guarantee calculations, leveraging technology and big data to support compliance and uncover actionable insights.
  • Engage and Educate: Liaise directly with clients and regulatory bodies, and lead training seminars for both clients and internal teams to build understanding and capability in employment tax matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Collaborative and Client-Focused Mindset: Eager to work as part of a national team supporting clients across diverse industries with complex tax and payroll compliance issues.
  • Strong Technical and Analytical Skills: 1–3 years of employment tax experience with large multinational organizations, excellent MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, and proven confidence in handling data and performing detailed analysis.
  • Adaptable and Growth-Oriented: Able to manage multiple priorities independently and within teams, with a strong attention to detail and a desire to continuously learn and embrace new technologies and ways of working.
