We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Electronic Monitoring and Surveillance team.
- Supervise a small team and develop operational rosters
- Engage with community groups and/or external service providers
- Work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures
This position requires experience in supervision and surveillance practices in a human services or related field.
You will be part of the High-Risk Offender Management Unit team based in Brisbane and Townsville regions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise offenders subject to a supervision order pursuant to the Dangerous Prisoners (Sexual Offenders) Act 2003 residing throughout Queensland, as well as electronic monitoring of offenders on parole.
- Develop operational strategies to effectively manage offender risk and rehabilitation.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven track record in leading high-performing teams and developing effective operational strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
