Officer - Risk Management Specialist

The High Risk Offender Management Unit (HROMU) is responsible for the supervision of offenders subject to a supervision order and electronic monitoring of offenders on parole.
The HROMU team comprises of work groups including Strategic Risk and Support, Operations SEQ, Central to Far Northern, and Electronic Monitoring and Surveillance Unit.
This talent pipeline is open for candidates to register their interest in various casual employment opportunities throughout the next 12 months.

- EXPERIENCE IN SUPERVISION AND SURVEILLANCE PRACTICES
- ABILITY TO ENGAGE WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS
- KNOWLEDGE OF LEGISLATION, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
- INTERPERSONAL AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SKILLS
To be successful in this role, you will require experience in supervision and surveillance practices, ability to engage with community groups and knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures. You will also need excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
This position involves shift work as it supports the 24/7 monitoring of offenders in the community. Shift penalties apply.
