
Sales and Relationship Development Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Strategic Account and Sales Manager to spearhead customer relationships in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
This key role combines account management and sales, focusing on long-term growth and retention. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan, develop, and strengthen customer relationships, delivering strategic and value-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, satisfying customer relationships to enhance operational performance visibility.
- Drive portfolio revenue growth.
- Establish, implement, and review customer growth and sales strategies.
- Identify key customer imperatives and opportunities for new business development.
- Develop pathways for high potential customers and tender opportunities.
- Build and manage relationships with internal departments for cost efficiency, safety, and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to review profitability and ensure revenue capture.
- Prepare periodic reports including KPIs, commercial data, and agreed metrics.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Logistics, or extensive industry experience.
- 10+ years of relevant logistics experience with a proven track record in Sales Management and/or Account Management.
- Professional composure and commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with data analytics and statistics understanding.
- Ability to travel when required.
