Job Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Planner to join our team as we deliver transformative projects that will shape the future of our community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering strategic land use planning programs, policies and documents
  • Prepare and assess planning proposals
  • Coordinate the assessment of scoping proposals
  • Undertake reviews of Development Control Plans (DCPs)
  • Prepare detailed masterplans
  • Contribute to heritage planning
  • Support infrastructure strategies that promote growth with appropriate services and facilities
About You

You will be a natural collaborator with exceptional communication skills, able to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Town Planning or industry equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in strategic planning, preferably in heritage or recreation planning
  • Skills in preparing detailed strategic planning documents and/or masterplans
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
