We are seeking a detail-focused and proactive payroll professional to join our team. This is a fixed-term contract until May 2026, with potential for ongoing opportunities.
As a payroll officer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for over 350 employees. This includes processing superannuation, bonuses, commissions, parental leave, and Workcover payments, ensuring compliance with Awards, FairWork, STP, and EOFY requirements. You will also maintain HRIS/payroll records and provide payroll advice to leaders, assist with audits, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key skills and qualifications required include:
- Experience in a similar payroll role, preferably within the health industry
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems like Employment Hero and proficiency in Microsoft Office
