About the Company:

As a global player with a strong presence in the industry, they are looking for an experienced Supply Planner to join their team. Due to internal movements, this contract opportunity is available for an immediate start and offers a strong possibility of permanency for the right candidate.

About the Role:

The Strategic Inventory Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the availability of finished goods and materials to meet demand plan targets. Key responsibilities include inventory management and planning, ordering of imported and locally manufactured goods, and maintaining data accuracy in the ERP system. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve efficiency.

Key Duties:
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Sales teams to identify supply risks and develop corrective actions.
  • Manage Purchase Orders (POs), Transfer Orders (TOs), and Production Orders (PROs) to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Liaise with 3PL providers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain management, preferably in a FMCG environment.
  • Proven expertise in inventory management, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with top-tier ERP systems and ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
