Inventory Manager Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Operations Coordinator to support our Inventory Manager and oversee the daily functions of our inventory department based in our Distribution Centre.
The Role You Could Play:
This key role will help optimize storage procedures, maintain efficiency, and develop the skills within our inventory team. We are looking for a highly organized individual who can coordinate with receiving teams for timely and accurate processing of inventory.
- Develop and implement plans for incoming inventory storage space to ensure optimal stock management.
- Coordinate with the receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory.
- Oversee the movement of excess stock to offsite storage facilities and manage returns from offsite facilities when inventory levels are low.
- Monitor and update SKU master data, including dimensions and weights, to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Develop and maintain Tableau reports for insights into inventory performance and identify root causes of discrepancies to collaborate on improvements.
What You Will Bring:
- A strong understanding of warehousing operations and a continuous improvement mindset.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL, advanced Excel (including macros), and Tableau.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and multitasking skills, with a commitment to safety and continuous learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
