Job Description

We are recruiting a pragmatic and experienced Financial Controller to join our senior leadership team. As a business partner to the Management team, your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support on performance and financial processes
  • Reviewing and preparing journals and general ledger reconciliations
  • Reviewing and preparing month-end reports including analysis of operating costs
  • Liaising with Senior Management and managing queries
  • Analysing standard to actual cost variances
  • Identifying challenges and opportunities and recommending corrective action

In this role, you will manage day-to-day responsibilities including report generation, data entry, cost coding, ledger entry, reconciliation and trouble shooting.

We seek a candidate with tertiary accounting qualifications and professional membership (CA or CPA), experience in a similar Financial Controller position within a large business, and strong commercial acumen.
